Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kings XI Punjab:
This is the half century of the IPL matches as we are talking about the 50th match of IPL that will be played between the inform Royal challengers Bangalore and the Kings X1 Punjab. Match will be played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru which is home ground of RCB. Match will be live at 7:30 PM Pakistan Standard time. Last time both the sides played an excellent game and it was RCB who won by just 1 runs and got 2 important points.
Starting from the RCB side who didn’t started the tournament in a very good way but the way they have played their last 2 games and the way Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers played it was just a great sight to watch. RCB at the moment have played 12 with 6 wins and 6 losses and are at no 5 in the points table. They still need 2 out of 2 wins in the last 2 games to go through next round and the way they are playing right now it’s the best chance they have to go through the next round. Best news for RCB is that Chris Gayle has finally got his touch back as the way he has played the last innings of 49 runs was amazing to watch. RCB batting has no issues at all as they have almost 5 batsmen who are the best in the world and can destroy any sort of bowling. The issues is their bowling which is quite inconsistent and RCB simply can’t rely on their bowlers. But a positive for RCB is that their bowlers have bowled extremely well in the last 2 matches and that thing will surely boost up their confidence. RCB also need a bit of luck for the next two matches as they will wish to bat second because their batsmen have ability to chase any kind of total and if they got that chance they will surely grab it.
Coming towards the KXIP side whose batsmen finally have tried to score runs but the bowlers are not backing up their bowlers as they couldn’t defend big targets. They have won 4 out of 12 games and are at no 7 in the points table. They are out of the tournament but surely try to end their tournament in a better way. Coming towards their batting where Murali Vijay has a great tournament so far and he has scored runs on the regular basis for his team. Also Hashim Amla was outstanding in his last match where he scored 96 runs and played a classy knock. Issue is with their bowling where most of their bowlers are looking quite rusty and didn’t bowled well for the team in last few matches. They have just 2 matches left and they will surely try to win maximum number of matches. They will surely have less pressure as compare to RCB because they are out of the tournament and they will just try to play their natural game.
Match is at Bangalore which is a quite dry wicket and we surely see big scores in this ground as both the teams have very good batting line up.
